It is especially irritating when you have an established workflow that relies on a service working in a specific way – which then breaks for no discernible reason.
I have a two-stage process for reading long-form content from the internet. I’ll add articles to Pocket throughout the week, and then on a Friday or Saturday, I’ll cull the list of the things that I thought I wanted to read but actually now don’t. Anything remaining is sent to my Kindle. I’ve been doing this for years. It has worked every single time.
But it no longer works. The articles never arrive. I don’t know where they go. They might be going to someone else’s Kindle, which would be.. weird for both of us. Where they are definitely not going is onto my Kindle.
